Completely Random

And this is what Emma does while I'm working. ;) Kind of scary! Thank goodness for Miss Ashley entertaining them. Even if they did look like burglars.
We have been riding bikes quite a bit. Just not the last few weeks, it was in the hundreds for DAYS. In. June. It's been better the last few days so we hope to start riding again. ;)
About a month ago, we went to the Compassion awards. My mom was a finalist! She is a great nurse! We were so proud of her! She was nominated by her fellow nurses and a lot of her patients voted for her. :)
It was at a conference center in Little Rock and it was beautiful. We accidentally drove on a bike path, but besides that, it was a great day!
A few weeks ago, we went to Branson for the day. It was Kid's Fest at Silver Dollar City. Emma was rocking the accordion!
 They had a band!

Emma and Daddy on Powder Keg. That girl is a thrill seeker!
 Milking the fake cow. ;)
We met up with Nanny and Papa. Aiden and Papa on the swinging bridge.
Emma, Nanny and Daddy making it off the bridge. No running or jumping... MATT!
After SDC, we went to cool off at White Water. They really love the newish big kids area.
 And the ICEEs.
This year, they have started going on the slides too. I really didn't think we would ever get Aiden on one, but he even likes the big ones. He has really been coming out of his shell this year. I am so excited about that. And honestly, I'm not even sad about him starting kindergarten because I know how much Emma opened up that year. I can't tell you how anxious I am to see the changes in him over the next year!

We noticed that our Children's Librarian collected flamingos. We thought she needed a BLUE one. She was so appreciative and was happy to learn a little about Type 1 Diabetes. We named him Dewey (as in the Decimal System). We think he likes his new home and have been back several times to check on him. ;)
We have been trying to have lots of fun this summer. We have our Summer Bucket List and have been marking things off. I also have been trying to be a "more fun" mom and a little more screen free (which makes blogging HARD). But sometimes you just don't want to swim AND get your hair wet. Matt and I have joked that they will be playing so well and independently in the pool and as soon as we get in, they are just glued to us! So... I'm blogging (while we are watching all the new shows on Disney Channel.) ;)
